About Us

The Five Gables is an upscale 16 room boutique hotel overlooking the ocean in Boothbay, Maine. The inn is open seasonally from May through October 24. Customer service is critical to our success and staff interacts with guests regularly. Food is an important part of our guest experience and we serve an elegant multi course breakfast each morning and tea and refreshments each afternoon. Everything we serve is made from scratch and our chef has built a strong reputation for high end baking and creating new dishes. We also serve an afternoon tea with homemade treats which include our own homemade cookies or cakes. We are a small inn so in addition to the primary responsibilities, our staff will also experience other aspects of the hospitality business.
