Job Responsibilities

Mechanical Inspector is needed to provide first-article inspection of high precision machined hardware for R&D projects. Inspection can range from raw material to completed subassemblies. Duties include inspection and documentation of as-built dimensions for machined hardware (tight tolerances, open set-ups), incoming inspection of parts and materials from outside vendors, and suggestions for process improvement.

Requirements

Professional Requirements

Previous inspection training and experience to complete the identified duties is essential. Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, manual dexterity to handle small parts, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are required. Experience with CMM is required.

Full-Time Temporary position, minimum of 6 months employment, potentially 1 year or greater.
