Maine Veterans' Homes - Augusta is currently accepting applications for our next CNA class. By enrolling in our CNA "Earn While You Learn" program, you will gain an invaluable introduction into the healthcare industry, while providing high-quality care to our Veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star Parents and earn wages while you learn how.

Selected applicants will be hired in a full-time (benefit eligible) capacity, scheduled for 40 hours per week of combined classroom instruction and clinical experience. Graduates who pass the Maine CNA competency test are qualified to pursue full-time or part-time employment opportunities at MVH-Augusta.

Experience and Skills

CNA Training Program:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Complete a Pre-Hire Employment Screening
  • Complete CASAS Reading/Comprehension
