Daily we care for Maine's Veteran heroes, their spouses and Gold Star parents. We offer state-of-the-art therapy programs and a compassionate, supportive team of skilled senior care professionals.

Maine Veterans' Homes, a nonprofit organization, has five Homes throughout the state in addition to MVH Bangor. Job DescriptionThe CNA-in-training program provides the opportunity to take a CNA course, at no cost, while working in a full-time CNA-in-training position. Maine Veterans' Homes pays for your CNA certification, class time, as well as work time. After completion of the CNA course, and certification is obtained, you will then transition to a a full-time CNA position. After participation in this program, we ask for at the least one year of full-time employment. Our next schedule class begins 9/27/21. Apply now!

Experience and Skills

Good attendance is a must. Must be able to read at the 10th grade level and pass a written English exam demonstrating this.
